Press Release 11/21/09 Eagles Travel to northwest Indy
The Varsity Eagles, Varsity Lady Eagles, the Junior High Eagles (age 14 & Under as of 9/1/09) and Elementary Eagles (age 12 & Under as of 9/1/09) traveled to Indianapolis on Saturday to meet the Northwest Warriors and the Indianapolis Trailblazers at Traders Point Christian Academy Gym, 6600 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.
In the stats, we are now using the term deflections, which is defined somewhere in Maxpreps. For the last few years we have used defensive assists to describe a tip of the ball on a rebound to your teammate, or intercepting a pass by an opponent and deflecting it out of bounds, or deflecting it to your teammate and making a steal, or other defensive actions.
