Player/Parent Agreement and Basketball Finances
Huntington Eagles Sports Club, Inc.
Player/Parent Agreement 2010-2011
The Huntington Eagles Athletic
program is a competitive athletic program. Players are challenged to
develop character qualities and life skills that will assist them in their
adult life. There is NO promise or guarantee of playing time outside of
weekday practices. Coaches’ decisions about game line-ups and playing
time need to be honored throughout the season.
We will present Jesus Christ as
Lord and will challenge our athletes to a life of faith with purpose and
vision. They will then focus on team goals by sacrificing self, honoring
those in authority, honoring each other, and honoring their
opponents. We are to be “salt” and “light”. Our
physical conduct and the language we use needs to reflect our faith and set us
apart.
We believe winning character is
selfless, attentive, teachable, helpful, encouraging, diligent, loyal and
responsible.
